Sara Ellis Designs has a few new kits in her store. Me being the terrible blogger, I'm finally getting around to posting these.
THE FIRST KIT IS 43
This kit was inspired by Sara's 43rd birthday which was back in May.

The papers in this kit were PERFECT to scrap the Fantastic 4 and Shrek.

This layout is one of the few journaling layouts I have done. It has been a couple years since we have been on a pow wow roadtrip. I hope this year we will have a few more fun trips :o)

One of my Taylor Swift layouts. My girls and I had a great time at Taylor's FREARLESS concert. We had great seats which allowed me to take great pictures. This layout I did for the May 15-31 Template Sensation! Challenge at SDD. I used Template 1 by Sylvie D.



THE NEXT KIT IS BLOOMIN' BLOSSOMS
I love the brite and fun elements and papers of this kit.

This first layout gets me giggling everytime I look at it. My Chey loves to goof around and loves to make funny faces when she sees me with my camera.

Jonathan Papelbon. The Boston Red Sox. Oh I could go on babbling about my love for the Red Sox. My oldest daughter and I went to see the Red Sox play the Twins at Target Field during opening week. We were in baseball heaven! We didn't get to see our "favorite" players play (Josh Beckett-me) (Jacoby Ellsbury-Ash) we did get to see THEM :o) The Red Sox did beat the Twins!!!!!

New Layouts, SDD News and New Kits from Sara Ellis Designs

Sara has a couple new kits and other great goodies in her store at Scrappity-Doo-Dah. I have also created a few new layouts using these amazing kits.
First I'd like to start by introducing you to her newest kit Miss Happy Heart.


I FINALLY got to scrap a few of my parents wedding pictures using this fabulous kit. It only took me 11 years (sorry Mom). I created this layout for the Wordart Loving! Challenge at SDD. Bekah_E Designs hosted the challenge and provided the wonderful wordart. Here is my LO using Miss Happy Heart.



The next kit I want to share with you is Space Case. This kit has fantastic papers and elements!



Cumberland School District was a NASA Explorer School in 2004-2005. Ash and Colt got to meet Heidemarie Stefanyshyn-Piper, the 8th female astronaut to walk in space. Space Case was the perfect kit to scrap this photo.

I've finished a couple challenges at SDD and wanted to share my layouts.

This layout I did for the March 1-15 Template Sensations! Challenge using Florafunkyfied. FloraFunkyfied is a collab by Sara Ellis Designs and LiseteScraps. I was the first half of March's Daily Download at SDD. The template is from Danos Pookie Designs.


9 Lives is the layout I did for the March 1-15 Bird Cage Challenge. This photo is of Miss Baby Kitty when she was a baby kitty. She loved to stretch out on the couch pillows for her naps. I used Steel City Scraps 'Lucky Day Mini Kit' for this challenge.

I've been getting behind on the new challenges at SDD and hope to have a scrapping day tomorrow. Work and family has kept me busy. We're off to a pow wow today. I will be adding personal photos to this blog. I realized that not everyone can view my photos on Facebook or Myspace.

More Good News!

First I'd like to share that I'm now a Scrap Silly Sister! (Sara Ellis CT) This is my first CT and I'm super excited!! I've been a huge fan of Sara's designs.
Now on to my first bit of CT duties :o)

Now my 2nd bit of good news, I found out this evening that I've made it to Round 3 in go DigitalScrapbooking's Supreme Team IX contest! I'm still in WOW shock mode. I do have a *NOTE TO SELF* for this next round. That is --NO MULIT TASKING WHILE UPLOADING MY LAYOUT-- Silly me, I was watching the Nationwide race (Dale Jr. & Danica) while uploading my LO for Round 2 of the contest. AFTER I uploaded and viewed the LO I noticed that it was my 1st save and not my final save. Per the RULES, I couldn't make any changes or edit my layout. There wasn't a big difference just in one flower cluster, so I was disappointed with myself and holding my breath to see if I would make it on to the next round. I did so now I hope to not make that mistake again :oP

Off to bed I go. Cumberland Varsity Boys BBall won this evening, Nick made it through his first bball practice after his ankle injury, Ash made a delicious chocolate cake for dessert and I didn't have to get after Colt to get off the computer & chase him to bed. So it was a fabulous evening!

Oops I Did It Again...

I almost forgot to post my new layout for Round 2 of Go DigitalScrapbooking's Supreme Team IX contest. The lucky Round 2 contestants had Dancing Princess Designs & Dylabel Designs kit Dipsy Dooodle to work with. My layout is titled Auntie's Princess. My niece Beth was my inspiration and her photo was perfect for this kit.
